If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at writing a script, this is your chance to learn the tricks of the trade from someone who has 25 years of experience in the business!
We’ll start by reviewing the basics, then learn the many elements of craft and storytelling that communicate to a reader that you’re no amateur—even if you haven’t earned credits yet.
Whether you’re new to the subject or you’ve had some experience, this is a great opportunity to hone your abilities—and have some fun in the process. You can work on your script for a short film, a feature, or a TV comedy or drama, and even hone your pitches and treatments with us.
Our instructor, Adam Sydney, studied at The American Film Institute and worked as a screenwriter in L.A. before shifting into film development and coaching writers.
Our Fall Introductory Session will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at G-CADD for four weeks every Wednesday, starting on 11/15 and extending to 12/6.
Cost is $75.
