ABOUT THE READERS

Ruth Joffre is the author of the story collection Night Beast. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Lightspeed, Nightmare, Pleiades, khōréō, The Florida Review Online, Wigleaf, and the anthologies Best Microfiction 2021 & 2022, Unfettered Hexes: Queer Tales of Insatiable Darkness, and Evergreen: Grim Tales & Verses from the Gloomy Northwest. She was the 2020-2022 Prose Writer-in-Residence at Hugo House and will be a visiting writer at University of Washington Bothell in 2023.

S. Yarberry is a trans poet and writer. Their poetry has appeared in AGNI, Tin House, Indiana Review, Redivider, jubilant, Notre Dame Review, The Boiler, among others. They currently serve as the Poetry Editor of The Spectacle. S. has their MFA in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis and is now a PhD candidate in Poetry & Poetics at Northwestern University, where they study twenty and twenty-first century receptions of William Blake. Their first book, A Boy in the City, is now out from Deep Vellum.
